The Buffalo Bills head coach, Sean McDermott, announced last week that they would bench QB Tyrod Taylor for rookie Nathan Peterman, after a poor performance last week against the New Orleans Saints. That plan seemed to severely backfire, as Peterman threw for 66yds and 5 (yes, 5) INTs in only the first half. The Bills coaching staff decided to actually make a smart decision for once and bring in Taylor for the remainder of the game, at halftime. If I were Sean McDermott, I would’ve never made this foolish decision based on one rough game against one of the hottest teams in the NFL, in the Saints, and decide to bench the best quarterback on my team for a rookie 5th round pick. Horrible decision, which led to a bad result as the Bills lost 54-24 against the L.A. Chargers on Sunday.
