UFC is coming with what looks to be a pay-per-view masterpiece in early November, through UFC 217. The main event will be the return of Georges St. Pierre against the very arrogant and talented Michael Bisping for the UFC Middleweight Championship. Reports are going out that GSP is looking somewhat out of shape and not like himself, when he last fought in the octagon. UFC commentator Joe Rogan had this to say about St. Pierre a few days ago, “Georges does not look that good… you can be in great shape at 35 years old, but it really, completely helps if you were super active for a long time.” In the other corner, a 38 year old Michael Bisping, is looking both mentally and physically prepared for this bout. I am one to believe that after years of winning tough fights and not quite getting the recognition he likely deserves, he will be more willing to win this fight than GSP and will likely end up with his arm being held up when it’s all finished. GSP will fight a hard fight and maybe get Bisping with some clean hits, but this isn’t his fight to win, as much as the fans and probably the UFC as a whole would prefer to see. My prediction is that Bisping wins by K.O. in the 4th round.
