It has been a hectic 24 hours for Tottenham Hotspur supporters, as now-former manager, Mauricio Pochettino has been fired after a disappointing start to the 2019/2020 campaign. This comes as a real surprise to most soccer fans, given the fact that just 6 months ago, he lead Spurs to a surprising Champions League final appearance.
To make matters worse for many Tottenham fans, the club has decided to hire the controversial, Jose Mourinho, as Pochettino’s immediate replacement. Mourinho, while having much success throughout his managerial career, is known recently for having underachieving teams and questionable defensive tactics.
Most Spurs supporters are ready to call it quits for this season, while some strive to stay optimistic about the change “the special one” can bring to the club.
