Finally it’s Super Bowl Sunday! It’s a day met with mixed feelings from NFL fans across the world as it is the most exciting game of the year, but it is also the last. This year’s Super Bowl is destined to be highly competitive and high scoring as we have the Los Angeles Rams facing the New England Patriots. This is of course a rematch of Super Bowl XXXVI, where a young Tom Brady and the up and coming New England Patriots beat an experienced St. Louis Rams team that won it all a few years prior. In this year’s edition of this matchup it is the young QB Jared Goff and the now LA Rams that must face the much-experienced Patriots team. Will history repeat itself, or will a new side to this story unfold? Let me tell you what I think will happen.
Sports2theMax Predicts: Rams 33 Patriots 30
I think history will repeat in a unique way. Back in Super Bowl XXXVI it was then-Patriots kicker, Adam Vinatieri, who hit the game winning field goal that won New England their first ever Super Bowl and sent the experience Rams home. I think in this rematch it will be Rams kicker, Greg Zuerlein, that will hit the game winning field goal to lift this young Rams side to a Super Bowl championship and send the experience Patriots home.
This game, regardless of the winner, I believe will be a fun one to watch. Two dynamic offenses, two solid defenses, and experienced coaching all over the place (with the exception of Rams HC Sean McVay, but his football knowledge surpasses his years). This Super Bowl should be one to remember.
