Early Season Woes for the Cleveland Cavaliers

The preseason favorites out of the NBA Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers, have a worrisome 3-4 record to start off the season. This includes losses to mediocre teams like the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks. One could argue that it is only the start of November, so it’s too early to tell whether this will carry on for the rest of the season, while others say it’s a sign of the rest of the year. I tend to agree on the “it’s too quick to judge” side, as we’ve seen other super teams in the past, struggle early on in the season. Look at the Miami Heat teams of the early 2010’s, they had a tendency to have a rough start almost every year, but still ended up in the NBA Finals. Even Dwyane Wade himself compared this rough start to the 2014 Miami Heat team, alluding to the fact that they over came this by making the finals, where they lost in 5 games to the San Antonio Spurs. I say give it time for the losing to blow over, as I still firmly believe that Cleveland is the definite favorite in the East to make another finals run.
