In the first of two hard fought semifinal games, France makes it to their country’s third ever World Cup final in a very close match against a Belgium squad that couldn’t break through and score a goal. It was through a header scored by defender Samuel Umtiti early in the second half, that ended up deciding this contest. In the second match, England found themselves leading early off a beautiful free kick goal by Kieran Trippier, but the lead was squandered in the middle of the second half, as Croatia went on to score the equalizer. It came down to the second period of extra time, where Mario Mandzukic scored the winner for the Croats and put them through to their country’s first ever World Cup final. These two juggernauts are looking to claim the World Cup trophy as their own, and bring joy and pride to their people of their nation. Now let’s see who will win…

I think that the Croatian squad will come out with a lot of passion and determined to win. Frankly, I could even see them scoring the opening goal of the match. It will be France’s world class players, in addition to their incredible attacking ability that will overwhelm Croatia and win them this game. France will have another star on their badge and win their nation’s second World Cup.
